Action Required: Upgrading your Kingfisher Squash Club Membership

Dear Member,

We are writing to share an important update regarding how we manage memberships at Kingfisher Squash Club.

Following a successful trial, we are moving all memberships over to GoCardless Direct Debit. This change is essential to reduce the manual administrative workload for our volunteers and ensure the club's records remain accurate and sustainable.

What do I need to do?

To ensure we link your payment correctly to your profile, we need all members currently paying via Standing Order to re-register through our portal:

https://application.kingfishersquashclub.co.uk

Note: Please fill in the application via the link above even if you are a long-standing member. This ensures your payment is correctly mapped to both our door access and court booking systems.

No Double Charging

If you have already made your standing order payment for the current month, don’t worry. We will cross-reference our records to ensure your first Direct Debit payment is not collected until the following month. You will not be charged twice.

Deadlines & July Payments

The Switch: All membership payments for July onwards must be made via Direct Debit.

Deadline: Please complete the online setup by June 30th.

Cancel your Standing Order: Once you have signed up via the link above, please manually cancel your old Standing Order with your bank.

Automatic Refunds: Any payments received via Standing Order after the June 30th cutoff will be ring-fenced and refunded to you.

Access & Bookings: To keep our systems synchronized, both court booking privileges and door access will be deactivated after June 30th for any accounts that have not transitioned to the new system.

Already moved to Direct Debit?

If you joined the recent trial and are already paying via GoCardless, no further action is needed.

Need Help?

If you have any questions or need assistance with the link, please contact us at admin@kingfishersquashclub.co.uk.

We appreciate your cooperation in making Kingfisher Squash Club more efficient. This move allows our volunteer team to spend less time on paperwork and more time improving the club facilities for everyone.

Best regards,

Kingfisher Squash Club
