Dear Members,
We’re pleased to share some fantastic news – the Kingfisher Squash Club 1st Team has been promoted to Division 1 of the Worcester Squash League!
This is a great achievement and a reflection of the hard work and commitment shown by our team members. Competing at this higher level will bring some exciting and high-quality squash to the club – and we’d love for you to come along and support them.
Fixture & Court Usage Update:
Due to the promotion, our 1st Team fixtures will now take place on Wednesday evenings, rather than Thursdays as in previous seasons. There will be 8 home fixtures spread over 7 months, and these will require a block booking of courts from 7:20 PM to 9:40 PM on those evenings.
We understand this may affect some members’ usual court availability, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we accommodate our team’s new schedule (the team have challenged the day, however there is no alteration with county giving the option to withdraw if it can’t be accommodated)
As always, members are very welcome to come and watch the matches, enjoy the atmosphere, and cheer on the team. It promises to be a great season of squash at a high standard.
