Important Club Announcement: Resignation of Club Chairman, Geoff Haines

I am writing to inform you that our Club Chairman, Geoff Haines, has resigned from his position and will also be stepping down from the Committee with immediate effect.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Geoff for his commitment, hard work, and leadership over his tenure as Chairman. The time and effort he has dedicated to our club—from overseeing key projects to simply keeping the spirit of the club strong—have been invaluable. We know how much time goes into these voluntary roles, and we thank him for everything he has done to support our club and its members. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.

Opportunity to Apply for Club Chairman

Following Geoff’s departure, the position of Club Chairman is now vacant, and we are inviting interested members to step forward and apply.

The Chairman's duties involve leading the Committee, setting the strategic direction of the club, acting as the primary point of contact and representative for the club, and ensuring that all committee functions run smoothly. It is a pivotal role that shapes the future of our squash community.
